Visitors exploring Philadelphia this summer will have even more convenient ways to travel between the city’s most popular attractions thanks to expanded service on the Philly PHLASH®.
As Philadelphia welcomes millions of visitors for a historic summer featuring major sporting events, festivals, and celebrations, the Philly PHLASH® is increasing service on select high-demand days to help visitors travel easily throughout Center City, the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Independence National Historical Park, and beyond.
More Frequent Service During Peak Travel Days
The Philly PHLASH® is Philadelphia’s affordable hop-on hop-off bus service, connecting visitors to more than 20 attractions, museums, neighborhoods, and transportation hubs.
During the 2026 season, the PHLASH will operate expanded service levels on select dates throughout June and July, increasing the number of buses on the route to accommodate higher visitor demand.
Standard Service
- Downtown Loop buses every 15 minutes
- West Park Loop buses every 30 minutes
- Service from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- First departure at 10 a.m.
- Last departure at 5:30 p.m.
Expanded Surge Service
On select high-demand dates, the PHLASH will increase service from four Downtown Loop buses to as many as ten buses operating simultaneously.
This enhanced service will reduce wait times to approximately:
- Every 7–8 minutes during surge service days
- Every 6 minutes during peak surge days
The result is faster, more convenient transportation between Philadelphia’s top destinations.

The PHLASH’s expanded West Park Loop provides direct service between Center City and several family-friendly attractions and transportation hubs, including:

- Please Touch Museum
- Philadelphia Zoo
This route makes it easier than ever for visitors arriving by train or staying in Center City hotels to access some of Philadelphia’s most popular destinations.

- One-Day Pass: $5
- Family Pass: $15 (up to 2 adults and 2 children ages 5–18)
Children ages 4 and under ride free. Seniors 65+ and SEPTA Key Card holders also ride free.
