Independence Seaport Museum: River Alive!
The Independence Seaport Museum on Philadelphia’s Delaware River Waterfront is the permanent home to River Alive!, an exhibit that focuses on the river itself. The display includes an interactive River Continuum Wall that projects the evolution of the watershed ecosystem; a Nature’s Highway puppet theater; Citizen Lab & Fisharium, with hands-on, indoor-outdoor experiments and tanks of just-drawn river water; and an audio-equipped River Window looking out to the Delaware.
